Planning and conducting experimental porcine and clinical patient studies in a shoulder arthroplasty surgery model. Evaluation of microdialysis data and in situ ischemic metabolites.

Research experience

Partook in data collection for a revision study evaluating outcomes related to hip implants.
Currently responsible for a planned clinical follow-up study of patients receiving patient-specific 3D-printed hip implants, as well as a planned preclinical experimental study on local antimicrobial therapy using CarboCell G/C.
The preclinical project will investigate local antimicrobial effects in a porcine wound model.
Focus on local antimicrobial exposure and infection prevention in soft tissue wounds.
